Lamb Samosas - 6 Pieces
Six hand-rolled lamb, pea and lightly spiced samosas.
Skip to contentThis is the full freezer range: 48 dishes cooked by hand in small batches at our kitchen overlooking Silent Pool in the Surrey Hills. Regional curries, five dals, biryani, rice, naan and a shelf of starters.
Everything arrives frozen and ready to heat, with no defrosting and no prep. Most dishes serve two, so a curry, a dal, a rice and a naan makes a proper dinner for two without cooking a thing.
Use the filters to narrow it down by category, heat, portion size or diet. Every card shows its spice level and allergens up front, so you can see what suits your table before opening a single product page.

Mandira's Kitchen started as supper clubs in a converted cowshed near Albury and grew into a kitchen sending proper Indian home cooking across the UK. Every dish on this page is made by us, in batches small enough to taste as we go, using whole spices we grind ourselves, then frozen the same day it is cooked. Our food has won fifteen Great Taste Awards and is endorsed by Nigella Lawson, but the thing that matters is that it tastes like someone cooked it for you rather than for a production line.
If your grandmother wouldn't recognise the ingredients, neither do we. No artificial preservatives, no shortcuts, and nothing on this list we wouldn't put on our own table.
Regional dishes rather than a single house curry: a Delhi butter chicken, a Calcutta cashew and coriander chicken, a Goan xacuti, railway lamb on the bone, a Keralan fish moilee, and vegetarian mains including palak paneer, chana masala, navratan korma and panch mishali. Each serves two.
The part of the range we are best known for. Dal Makhani simmered for hours with butter and cream, a garlic-heavy Lehsuni, a spinach Palak Dal, and a watercress dal made with leaves from Kingfisher Farm a few miles down the road. Most are vegan. There is also a Homestyle Tarka Daal Kit if you would rather finish it yourself, which makes six portions.
Chicken and vegetable biriyani cooked the dum way in a sealed pot, plus lemon rice, vegetable pulao and flame-baked tandoori naan straight off the wall of a clay tandoor.
Onion bhajis, three kinds of samosa, hara bhara kebabs, kaju corn rolls, pea patties, chanachur, spiced crackers and luxury spiced nuts. Most are vegan and gluten free, and they go in the oven or air fryer rather than the microwave.
Heat runs from one chilli to two across this range. Mild means warmth and aroma with no chilli burn, which is where most children are comfortable, and Medium builds gently rather than hitting hard. The Serves filter separates the dishes for two from the Tarka Daal Kit, which makes six, and from the starters and snacks sized to share. Diet filters cover gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian, and every card lists its allergens as well, so nothing needs a second click to find.
Cook from frozen, with no defrosting. Curries, dals and rice take about ten minutes on the hob with a splash of water, four to five minutes in the microwave, or thirty in the oven or air fryer. Fork the biryani through before serving so the grains separate. Starters go in the oven or air fryer for eight to twelve minutes and should not go near a microwave, or you lose the crunch that makes them worth eating. Delivery is £9.99 and free over £75, across mainland UK, packed to stay frozen in transit.

Good to Know
No. Everything is cooked from frozen. Curries, dals and rice take about ten minutes on the hob with a splash of water, four to five minutes in the microwave, or around thirty minutes in the oven or air fryer. Starters such as samosas and onion bhajis should be cooked in the oven or air fryer for 8–12 minutes and should not be microwaved, as they lose their crisp texture.
Every dish includes a heat rating. One chilli indicates a mild dish with warmth and aromatic spices but very little heat, while two chillies indicate a medium spice level. You can also use the Heat filter at the top of the page to browse dishes by spice level.
Use the filters at the top of the page to browse Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Dairy Free dishes. Many of our dals, Chana Masala, Panch Mishali and several starters are vegan, while much of our range is naturally gluten free. Please note that our kitchen handles gluten, nuts and dairy, so we cannot guarantee the absence of traces. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.
Most curries, dals and rice dishes are designed to serve two people. Our Homestyle Tarka Daal Kit makes approximately six portions, while starters and snacks are ideal for sharing. You can also use the Serves filter to find the right portion size.
Standard delivery is £9.99, with FREE delivery on orders over £75. We deliver throughout mainland UK using insulated packaging that keeps your meals frozen during transit.
Our frozen meals stay at their best for up to six months when kept in the freezer. The Homestyle Tarka Daal Kit is shelf stable and has a storage life of up to twelve months. Once heated, the food should be enjoyed on the same day.
For a complete meal for two, we recommend choosing one curry, one dal, one rice dish and a naan. Add onion bhajis or samosas to start and you'll have a restaurant-quality Indian feast with almost no effort.
