Vegetable Biriyani
- In stock, ready to ship
- Inventory on the way
A highlight of our vegetarian range, our biriyanis are cooked with a lot of fuss. Fragrant basmati rice and fresh vegetables or meat are layered and then cooked under dum (or pressure), allowing the flavours to mingle and mix. Some mint leaves are added to enhance the flavour, resulting in a wonderful aromatic one-dish meal.
All you need with a biriyani is some raita. Blend natural yoghurt with some roasted cumin powder and salt and you are set for a perfect one-dish meal. You can also add other ingredients to your raita – we like cucumber, mint, tomato, aubergine or beetroot.
Each pack comes with two individual portions – larger packs are available to pre-order, please contact us directly to arrange.

Our dishes contain no preservatives or unpronounceable bits and will happily live in your freezer for up to 6 months. Cook straight from frozen or defrost. (Once defrosted, they can be refrigerated and enjoyed within 2 days.)
Our standard meals can be heated in the microwave, oven or hob from frozen. You do not need to remove the film – each portion takes about 4 minutes in the microwave or 35 mins in the oven or 8-10 minutes on the hob (decant into a pan first). If you wish, you can leave them to thaw for a bit and reduce heating time.
