The Biryani
Biryani is a nuanced Indian dish that changes from region to region. The biryani eaten behind the Jama Masjid in Delhi is entirely different from my Calcutta version, where a saffron infused potato sits among the rice with quiet authority.
A proper biryani is layered, the grains remain separate and flavour develops in stages. Because so many people say it feels complicated, we created the 20 minute Biryani Kit an easier way to cook biryani at home without losing depth. It feeds four and holds its character.
During this Biryani Masterclass in our kitchen, we’ll show you how that version works. At the same time, our award-winning biryani will be cooking silently. At the end, we open it and you taste both.

- Cancellations made at least 5 days before the event can be transferred to another date.
- Cancellations within 5 days are non-refundable, though we will try to fill your place from the waiting list.
