Easy Indian – Cookery Experience
I grew up on a tea plantation in Assam, moving to Calcutta, Delhi and finally the English countryside.
When I moved to England, everyone assumed I could cook but sadly I couldn’t and missed the cook more than my parents..
I learned eventually and this is where I show you too..
We begin properly with chai and samosas - no one should cook hungry. We then look at spices- how to buy spices, store spices and use spices . We learn how to use this when we start cooking - tempering, tasting and adjusting..
By the end, we sit down together in the barn and enjoy the meal we cooked together over a drink poured from the surrey bar.
