Four dals, cooked by hand in the Surrey Hills. Dal Makhani with black lentils simmered slow, Palak Dal with spinach, Lehsuni Dal heavy with garlic, and our Kingfisher Watercress Dal, made with watercress grown a few miles from the kitchen.
These are the dishes we are known for. Dal is what an Indian family eats most nights, and it takes patience rather than cleverness, which is why we never rush it. Order for delivery across mainland UK, or pick some up from the café at Silent Pool.

Our Story
What began as supper clubs in the Surrey Hills is now a kitchen sending proper Indian home cooking across the UK. We cook in small batches, with whole spices we grind ourselves and recipes handed down through generations.
Our chicken comes from family recipes rather than a spec sheet: a Delhi butter chicken, Mandira's mother's cashew and coriander murgh from Calcutta, a Goan xacuti built on dry-roasted coconut, and a dum-cooked biriyani.
