Butter chicken, or murgh makhani as we call it at home, made by hand in our kitchen in the Surrey Hills. Chicken marinated overnight, then finished in a sauce of tomato, cashew and butter, with whole spices we roast and grind ourselves. Gently spiced, so it suits the whole table, from the children to the one person who always asks for more chilli.
Serve it with naan and a bowl of rice and dinner is done in minutes. We don't churn out a curry.

Our Story
What began as supper clubs in the Surrey Hills is now a kitchen sending proper Indian home cooking across the UK. We cook in small batches, with whole spices we grind ourselves and recipes handed down through generations.
Our chicken comes from family recipes rather than a spec sheet: a Delhi butter chicken, Mandira's mother's cashew and coriander murgh from Calcutta, a Goan xacuti built on dry-roasted coconut, and a dum-cooked biriyani.
