This Mother’s Day travel with us to a bygone era… my childhood amongst emerald tea bushes and blazing bougainvillea and the most amazing afternoon tea with an Indian twist. A gentler time and an unhurried pace.

Our Story
Cooked in a converted cowshed, overlooking Silent Pool
What began as supper clubs in the Surrey Hills is now a kitchen sending proper Indian home cooking across the UK. We cook in small batches, with whole spices we grind ourselves and recipes handed down through generations.
Our chicken comes from family recipes rather than a spec sheet: a Delhi butter chicken, Mandira's mother's cashew and coriander murgh from Calcutta, a Goan xacuti built on dry-roasted coconut, and a dum-cooked biriyani.
