One of the best Dal Makhani, in our opinion, can found in the Indian city of Amritsar. With so many people asking us to do a black or Kaali Dal, we decided to create our very own version of this tasty Dal Makhani – using black lentils, simmered for hours with ripe tomatoes, fresh ginger and dried fenugreek leaves.
