  2. Hara Bhara Kabab (Veg) - Green vegetable patties with a hint of mint.
  3. Chicken 65 (Non-Veg) or Gobi Manchurian (Veg Alternative) - Spicy and crispy fried chicken or flavorful cauliflower florets in a tangy sauce. 

 Main Course

  • Rice: Peas Pulao - Fragrant rice with green peas.
  • Dal: Dal Shorba - Light and spiced lentil soup.
  • Chicken: Chicken Rogan Josh - Rich and aromatic chicken curry.
  • Veg Alternative: Palak Paneer - Spinach and paneer cooked with spices.
  • Vegetable: Baingan Bharta - Smoky mashed aubergine with spices.
  • Pickles: Mango Chutney - Sweet and tangy mango chutney.
  • Papadum - Crisp and crunchy lentil wafers.
  • Raita: Mint Raita - Cool yogurt with fresh mint. 

 Desserts

  1. Hot Gulab Jamun - Deep-fried dough balls soaked in syrup.
  2. Gajar Halwa - Sweet carrot pudding with nuts.

What a superb experience! A group of nine visited the restaurant on Saturday 25 June and had an amazing time. The outside setting overlooking the Silent pool is lovely. The staff where excellent and considering the group size the meals all arrived together. The food itself was delicious, so flavoursome and every plate was emptied.

The biggest challenge for me cooking proper Indian food was the complexity and range of spices and ingredients and how to handle them. Mandira totally demystified and simplified the whole process. Exactly what you need to make awesome Indian cuisine. Thank you! Also how to cook rice properly without washing out the flavour or burning it to the base of a pan. That alone is enough to make the whole thing worthwhile. Brilliant 🙂
