Made from butter, our nourishing ghee is cooked slowly for the correct colour, aroma and nutty sweetness. Double filtered to remove milk solids, there are no additives or colouring. Recommended in Ayurvedic cooking, ghee has a high smoking point and is rich in Vitamins A, D, E and K and is ideal for cooking, baking and external use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a clean, dry spoon. During warm weather, ghee may melt slightly but this is normal and there is no need to refrigerate. If stored properly, ghee lasts for many years. In fact, the earliest form of ghee is over 5,000 years old! Ours, of course, is freshly made!
