Mr Gujral created a dish called Murgh Makhani in his restaurant in Peshawar, Pakistan. After partition, he moved to Delhi and in the 1950s his Moti Mahal Restaurant dished up the first portion ofButter Chicken and the rest is history. Our freezer meal range now has our version - a lot less cream but just as tasty we think. This melt in the mouth dish contains boneless chicken cooked in a tomato and cashew gravy. Goes well with our vegetable pulao or naan. Serves 2.
