This Mother’s Day travel with us to a bygone era… my childhood amongst emerald tea bushes and blazing bougainvillea and the most amazing afternoon tea with an Indian twist. A gentler time and an unhurried pace. This menu includes some of my favourites, which I hope also become yours and help you celebrate with Mum… (We will provide alternatives so please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.)

Pre-booking only - we will take bookings for Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March 2023.

Fabulous spread, and so much of it! Mandira catered for our family get together last weekend. There were 12 adults and plenty of food for us all. The samosas were the biggest hit, i was lucky to get one for myself. The food was delivered to our door, on time and in serving platters that went from oven to table. What a superb experience! A group of nine visited the restaurant on Saturday 25 June and had an amazing time. The outside setting overlooking the Silent pool is lovely. The biggest challenge for me cooking proper Indian food was the complexity and range of spices and ingredients and how to handle them. Mandira totally demystified and simplified the whole process. Exactly what you need to make awesome Indian cuisine. Thank you! Also how to cook rice properly without washing out the flavour or burning it to the base of a pan. That alone is enough to make the whole thing worthwhile. Brilliant 🙂
